24 August 2006I had my checkup. Real bad news. Luckily, today's checkup Mummy was wif me.
The amniotic fluid was too little..Baby has stopped growing inside... Dr Ted advised me to give birth by cesarean as natural labour wld be risky. Mummy also agree wif Dr Ted. And for once, I didn't stick to my stuborness..I heeded Mummy's advice to cesarean. Hiaz..
Actually Mummy suggested Monday for the operation but Dr Ted said tat it might be too late n risky. Thus, we all agreed on Friday. Later, Auntie Lucy (the nurse frm Dr Ted's clinic) suggested to do it on tat day itself (24/08/06)... I protested... Actually, I was scared.. To them, it may seem nothing much..But to me, cesarean sounds n seems scary to me.. esp the aftermath - the wound, scar n pain. How much I wished tat Laogong was wif me @ tat moment. But luckily he wasn't cos I wld surely cry in his embrace.
Anyway, it was decided n confirmed n arranged for the cesarean to take place the next day - 25 August 2006.
I had International buffet after the checkup. The last indulge of good food n beverage before my operation n confinement.
Feeling very uneasy the rest of the day. Threw temper when I woke up frm nap..
Stressed? Not really.. More of being afraid.. (-_-")
25 August 2006BABY'S ARRIVAL!!!
C-Section suppose to start @ 2pm but anesthesiologist was late. Waited in the operation rm till 2.30pm.. The feeling was awful.. Baobei laogong was not wif me cos he cldn't (policy of hospital for operations).. Anesthesiologist came..Was given anesthesia n knocked out within a min. Laogong told me tat Baby was out by 1449 hrs.
Baby's Measurements @ BirthWeight ~ 3.54kg
Height ~ 51cm
Head Circumference ~ 36.5cm
The first feeling I had when I was waking up frm the anesthesia was pain.. The next thing on my mind in the midst of drowsiness was "Where's my baby? How's my baby?"
The nurses had to keep reassuring me tat baby's was fine. I can be quite nonsensical in drowsiness...who wldn't? (",)

Finally!!! Back hm wif Baobei Laogong...bringing wif me a new member of the family - Joshua Lee.
31 August 2006Joshua's checkup. Doc said tat his jaudice is under control.. hopefully it will go off soon.
02 September 2006My turn to see doc. Removed my stitches today.
Had a bad start of the day... Sleepy laogong didn't send me to doc's... Had to trouble Daddy to send me there instead. Pj on the other hand help me look after Joshua while I was @ the doc's...Baobei had lost quite a lot of slp for the past few days, I doubt his ability to wake up to look after Joshua.. Esp when Joshua is part of the reason why Baobei lost his slp..
04 September 2006 (Today)Hiaz..Here I am still stuck @ hm for confinement... Can't even go downstairs to sun-tan my baby boy. Joshua getting bigger day by day..and also getting more naughty - his refusal to drink breast milk unless @ a certain position.. Weird..
Baobei laogong has confirmed tat we wld be celebrating Joshua's first mth...But the venue is nt settled yet..might be @ his parents' place or somewhere...I dunno... His family facing some problems recently.. can't comment much abt them but hiaz...big headache..
Gtg now..shall blog again when I'm nt so tired.. (^_^)
