Woh..! It's been like *counting...* 2 mths plus since my last entry..

Ermm...wishes came a bit late but no choice cos haven't been free to blog..

Anyway...on this day (17 Nov'05), I had a mini celebration with my bros n sis..
Went to Suntec's Tony Romas for dinner..after which we went to Great World City for..
'HARRY POTTER and the GOBLET OF FIRE'

Before the dinner, Caiying had accompanied me to walk around @ Bugis. I was too early and she had to shop for a present for her brother... However, little did I knw tat I was in for a surprise..

Caiying had actually been appointed to buy a bday present for me...In the end, we chose a kaki colored bag..

"Million thanks to everyone who had contributed to my present. Esp Caiying..Thank you for the 2 presents. Really kind of you to buy another present on top of the bag.."

*Grins*

After shopping in Bugis..we decided to walk to Suntec. Caiying didn't knw there was a way to way thru to Suntec City, thus showed her the way. Had fun talking along the way..

It was very sweet of Caiying to accompanied me until Xiao Shuai Ge came..
I had actually asked Caiying to join us but she was too shy..thus when Xiao Shuai Ge arrived, Caiying left.

"Caiying..I'm really grateful and thankful that God gave me a chance to befriend you. Love you lots!"

The dinner was very nice..as in the food was great..but the service was like (~_~)
Conclusion: Food good, service bad.

As for the movie: Harry Potter n The Goblet of Fire
The movie was okay..not bad..BUT. (look here..there's a big BUT) a lot of the scenes were obviously cut..So stupid..Other than the 'unnecessary' cut scenes..The movie was okay.

My birthday!!!

"Happy Birthday to Myself!!!"

I'm finally 21..Had waited for a long time for this day. But when it actually arrived, there wasn't much excitement. Maybe it's becos I've already got everything I want...all except one - a baby..but tat'll hv to wait..not so soon, maybe in 2 years time - after I've gone thru my traditional wedding rites and taken my wedding photos...Till then it'll just me and my baobei's world.

Had a family dinner @ stamford raffles the plaza - Plaza Market Cafe

The cuisine tat night was Peranakan. Quite nice. I love hot & spicy food! (^_^)
The total for the dinner was ard SGD$300/-, quite reasonable..taking into consideration the location, service, food quality and atmosphere.

After dinner, we went shopping @ Raffles City - Robinsons. Mum wanted to buy a dress and she did. And I? *Grins cheekily..*
I got a red g-string - Baobei bought it for me. Heehee.. (>_<) Then mum bought a Dinsney tee-shirt @ Giordano. After tat, we, the younger generation decided to visit MPH. Poor daddy n mummy stood outside for more than half an hour for us to finish our browsing. Laogong actually wanted to buy an IT reference book but found none suitable (Ya..his expectations quite high when it comes to buying books for himself..) Then mummy went to Giordano to buy the Disney tee-shirts. Spent almost 45 mins in that shop cos' she couldn't decide which Disney character's design she wanted. (I think she would have wanted all , if she could help it.)

It has been a long time since I had a chance to go out with my friends..Luckily..there's this day where I could enjoy a day wif a close friend of mine - Caiying. We had classes in the morning..after which we went to bugis. We had a mission on hand tat day..to buy a dress for myself cos there's a wedding tat weekend, and erhm...to shop! I'd just received my pay thus got some money to spend..and it's been a long long time since I shopped.. And let me tell you..dun ever stop shopping for a long long time..cos u wld tend to over-shop when u get the chance to shop again..LOL There were a few 'harvests' at the end of the day: 2 U2 Men shirts for my baobei, 1 shirt for Ah wei's bday, 2 sets of lingerie for myself, a dress and a pair of heels. Based on my previous shopping records, tat day was my highest record for shopping. (^_^)

After a day's shopping, we had dinner @ Yoshinoya and took some pics of our dinner. After dinner, we walked from bugis to Boat Quay to meet my laogong, who's @ his company's DnD. We reached the building quite early so had some time to take some photos.

In the midst of our photo-taking session, there was a commotion in an area near where we were standing. Being curious young ladies, we turned ard n tried to figure out wat was going on. But b4 we knew it, we saw a guy grabbing another guy (wearing formal clothings and a lanyard). The 'weaker' guy was practically begging the other guy to let go off him n talk things over. Seeing the violence which the 'stronger' guy was showing, it scared us quite a bit cos they were moving quite close to us. Haha..But all's well cos my hubby came to our rescue! His car reached us just in time, b4 the guys cld get any closer to us. Anyway, my hubby was a bit 'high' tat day cos he was smiling happily throughout our journey hm. Feeling weird abt his behaviour (nt tat i dun like to see him happy but it was really weird tat night), I started to question him. To my surprise, this was wat he told me:
"You know tonight is my co.'s DnD rite? Then I never bring u go rite? But I felt as if u were there wif me cos my seat no. was your birth year - 84. And u knw wad? I love you so much laopo cos u won me an ipod nano!!!"

"Oh my..!?! Really?" And hubby handed me the prize he won in the lucky draw. It was really an ipod nano! Both Caiying n I were so surprised. And there I was initially, being a bit sad tat hubby did nt bring me to the DnD. Haha..I guess this wld be a blessing in disguise. Anyway, hubby gave me the ipod nano cos he knws tat it was the latest gadget in town n everyone wld love to get it.

Tat day was an enjoyable and most rewarding day - Had the companionship n bonding wif a really good friend, shopping rewards and a really lucky prize from hubby.

Ah Wei's 21st Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AH WEI!!!!

The bday boy invited me n baobei to his hse for his 21st bday celebration. Quite a lot of ppl. Ah wei slim down a lot after his enlistment. Therefore, the present I got for him wld turn out perfectly for him. (^_^)
Saw Alex n his gf , Gerin and of cos, Ah Ting (Ah wei's younger sis) and elder sis (ehmm..I duno her name, only knw her as Tomato..Heehee..her friendster nick..Sorry ah). Unfortunately Ah wei's family cldn't stay long for the celebration cos such a concidence, there was a deity's bday celebration tat nite too. So the whole family except Ah wei is attending. But they didn't leave until the bday pics were taken and the bday cake cut.

Ah wei's younger than me, in terms of birthdate. Seeing him turn 21, makes me feel tat we're all growing old...ArgghhhH!! I hate to grow old. In fact, I used to wish tat I wld nv hv to grow up cos growing up means life becoming more complicated, more responsibilities and must work hard to earn lotsa money. I like to be simple but to grow up, I can't be simple anymore cos everyone else out there is complicated or maybe becoming complicated. To me, it's scary to grow up. Hiaz...

Well, it's been a long entry. I'll be off to KL soon, most probably during the X'mas period. Till I come back..See you guys! Hope you all enjoy the upcoming holidays! Take care.
